Eloise sponsored walk
Eloise is delighted to share that we recently completed our sponsored walk to raise funds for the Pink Ribbon Foundation and are thrilled to have raised over £400! A huge thanks to our friends and family who supported us with their kind donations.
We are only a small team here in Milton Keynes so we planned a staggered local walk in two’s and three’s on Wednesday September 6th 2023 so we could keep a skeleton staff in the office to answer the phones. We are fortunate enough to be based on the beautiful Furzton lake and we planned to do 2 laps each which equates to about 5K.
As with any outdoor event, we were hoping the weather would be dry and it was. It was in fact the hottest day of the year thus far and it wasn’t long before we really wished we had chosen to do a sponsored swim instead, but in the end a great time was had by all and none of us fell into the lake which was a win! (We had to create a risk assessment to get permission to arrange the walk and it amused us all greatly imagining the sorts of risks that a sponsored walk could raise – attacks by angry geese were also on the list LOL!)
Why the Pink Ribbon Foundation?
The Pink Ribbon Foundation is the perfect charity partner for Eloise because we share a keen desire to support those who are affected by breast cancer! We feel that The Pink Ribbon Foundations approach to helping charities of all sizes across the UK is particularly important. Indeed the Pink Ribbon Foundation regularly support our local Bosom Pals support group here in Milton Keynes.

On-going Breast Cancer charity support
In addition to the monies raised through activities such as the sponsored walk, Eloise also raise money for The Pink Ribbon Foundation throughout the year by matching all customer donations received through the Eloise website and by selling the gorgeous crystal Pink Ribbon brooch. The brooch costs £7 and £5 of every sale goes straight to The Pink Ribbon Foundation.
