Eloise Post-surgical Lingerie meet the team from Breast Friends Northampton
Three of the Eloise team went over to meet the Northampton Breast Friends support group last week. The group meet regularly on a Wednesday evening at a charming little café in Northampton where we were delighted to catch up with them. Thanks especially to Leonie for inviting and hosting us! The weather on the night was particularly awful with sheets of rain literally pouring down on us as we drove up the motorway so well done everyone who still made it there! Although the fabulous coffee and cakes were a great incentive for those who had been before 🙂
Post-Surgical Bras
Michele Duncan from Eloise kicked off the visit with a brief presentation on why a correct bra fitting is so important, especially for ladies who will be undergoing, or have undergone breast surgery. She then introduced the group to a collection from the mastectomy bras and swimwear that Eloise has on sale. The Anita care collection of post-surgical bras and breast forms are all designed to complement each other perfectly and each Anita care mastectomy bra is pocketed both sides for use with a prosthesis if required. Several in attendance commented that the bras were much prettier than the ones they had been offered on the high street.
Bra Fitting after Breast Surgery
Since your bra requirements will likely change following breast surgery or mastectomy, the best thing to do is to find a specialist post-surgical bra retailer to visit and be correctly fitted. Eloise have a private fitting room at their office in Furzton MK where ladies can make an appointment and visit. We invited the group to come together, as others have done in the past and make a day of it, perhaps with a walk around the beautiful Furzton Lake and a lunch at the pub around the corner afterwards 🙂
