Crystal Palace – Race for Life 2012

At 10am on the cloudy morning of the 10th of June, Team Eloise joined 2,500 other ladies at the Crystal Palace Stadium to run the Race for Life. Even the threat of rain and wet weather did not dampen the spirits of the participants and everyone joined in the warm-ups enthusiastically, with lots of lovely ladies dressed to the nines in pink paraphernalia.

The Race began at 11am and was around the gorgeous surroundings of the Crystal Palace Park. Luckily the rain stayed away and after just under an hour Team Eloise crossed the finish line to the cheers of friends and family. It was a wonderful atmosphere with numerous spectators lined up around the course cheering the racers on.
